Ma Bernadette Andres-Salgarino, Ed.D, is a mathematics educator and an advocate for rehumanizing mathematics. Currently, she is the Assistant Director for Integrated STEAM at SCCOE. She is the president-elect of the
California Mathematics Council (CMC) and the
Nominations and Elections Committee Chair of TODOS Mathematics for All. She also serves as a member of the Student Achievement Partners (SAP)
Educator Advisory Board. She’s a national board-certified teacher, SBAC item writer, reviewer, AP Calculus reader, and co-author of several lessons of the SCCOE’s My Name, My Identity initiative.Ma Bernadette has deep knowledge and extensive understanding of the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics (CCSSM). She was a member of the California Mathematics Framework and Evaluation Criteria Committee in 2013 and 2022.
