About me
Marcus is a native of Charlotte, NC and currently resides in Louisville, KY. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education. He is a former math teacher at Fern Creek High School. In his 13 years in the classroom, Marcus is a National Board Certified Teacher who has taught varying levels (advanced, honors, Special Education collaboration) of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and AP Statistics. As a member of the CPM Professional Learning Team, Marcus serves as a Professional Learning Specialist and travels across the US, supporting schools and districts with implementation of the CPM curriculum through instructional coaching and facilitating various learning events.
